WELCOME TO THE
LEWIS & CLARK LITERACY COUNCIL

The Lewis & Clark Literacy Council helps adults and their families acquire the reading, writing, English language, workforce and life skills so that they may have an improved quality of life.

We provide free English lessons, literacy tutoring, and basic adult education for the greater Helena area.

If you’ve ever considered tutoring adults, you’re on the right path to making a meaningful impact. Listen to Sarah’s inspiring experience as a tutor with the Lewis & Clark Literacy Council. She’s part of a community that helps adults and their families acquire essential skills, including reading, writing, English language proficiency, workforce readiness, and life skills.

Sarah’s journey as a tutor has been transformative. She has not only helped her student improve his reading skills but also guided him to successfully pass a portion of the HiSet test. Imagine the joy of witnessing someone gain confidence and independence through literacy! 📚✨

If you’d like to follow in Sarah’s footsteps, reach out to the Lewis & Clark Literacy Council. We offer personal tutoring and classes, all free of charge. Your impact could be invaluable, helping Lewis & Clark County move toward 100% literacy. 🌿📖
